A story rooted in history

The exact story of Whuppity Stoorie was first published in 1826 by Robert Chambers. He collected folklore tales for his landmark book "Popular Rhyms of Scotland". The story was not invented by Chambers, it is an ancient piece of folklore with deep and enduring history.

For me it was a favourite bedtime story, lovingly told bt Nana during childhood sleepovers, making the retelling a point if great nostalgia and love.

The magic of Whuppity Stoorie

The spirit and magic behind my brooms is deeply rooted in the Whuppity Stoorie folklore tale, which inspired my business name. This whimsy and magic are woven into every broom, bringing enchantment into the daily rituals of tending your home and caring for your family.

Why settle for a boring old broom when you can bring magic into your everyday life?
